Pongal Festival – Felt Story Board

• There are nearly – 50 loose pieces for pretend and play , story time through which learning can happen. All loose pieces can be stuck on wall / floor Velcro mat – which measures – size 110 cm * 70 cm.
• Great for schools and educational centers where collective learning as a group happens !

Details about the story board and every loose piece comes with velcro base to stick to base velcro mat :

• Four kids  and  5 adults.  These are not finger puppets.
• House, with plain roof for to include  & its decorations such as leaf banner , festival triangle color banner ( 4 piece loose decorations ) ( velcro activity )
• Kolam (rangoli) with three layers ( snap activity practice and velcro in base )
• One Pooja plate( velcro in base)- felt Diya , bell , bowls + painted to add extra touch
• Four sugar canes (velcro in base)
• Plantain leaf (Vazhai Ilai ) with felt  – fruits and vegetables it’s respective painting (velcro in base)
• Bowls two count – Sweet pongal and white pongal bowl (velcro in base)
• Large Pongal pot (one) + stove & wooden logs (velcro in base and its decorations  (shapes decorations loose pieces – 28 count : triangle – 10 , square -8 ,circle -10)
• Jallukattu (cultural sport ) ( man + cow) –  ( right left movement-symbolizing method of fight + velcro in base )
• Cow (one count) – Mattu pongal celebration – velcro in base
• Sun (Solar deity ) lacing activity

PS :  This felt story vertical board with interactive pieces is our original design which is not from Pinterest / Etsy rather created on based on Customs , Traditions which is followed and passed on from generations. We are delighted to design and manufacture this limited edition board since 2024 !
